Dog food brand Cesar has introduced its holiday campaign, “Matchy-Matchy,” and with the help of actor and rapper, Ice T; dancer, musician and actor Mark Ballas and NFL player, Devon Still, they’re showing how “matchy” sweaters can take dogs from man’s best friend to man’s homie.
Created by currently one of the best advertising agencies in the world, AMV BBDO, “Matchy-Matchy,”, features a series of short videos, social content, support from celebrities and influencers, and a contest giving dog owners a chance to get “matchy-matchy” with their pets.
Using hashtag #MatchyMatchy, you can join Ice-T, Mark Ballas, Devon Still and the many others who have embraced this holiday trend to show off your sweater-matching skills. With Matchy-Matchy photo generator, you and your pets can select a holiday scene, upload your photo and digitally “try on” all four festive sweater styles to be downloaded or shared socially, keeping the festive fun going. The site will also have knitting patterns available for download, giving the crafty gift givers an opportunity to knit their own pair of holiday-spirited sweaters.
“Nothing is stronger than the bond between people and their dogs,” said Dan Jackson, Marketing Director at Mars Petcare. “The Cesar brand is celebrating that special, and sometimes quirky, bond and encouraging pet owners to bring their dogs in on the fun this season with matching holiday sweaters.”
